Rajika Chauhan

Rajika is a second-year biology major at The College of New Jersey. She is interested in a career in cancer medicine and research, and is also seeking to develop her skills in science-writing and journalism. She is currently pursuing research in her college's lab, and has done work exploring the effect of toxic metal exposure on mating in C. elegans, as well as the role of the tumor microenvironment in pancreatic cancer progression. In her free time, she enjoys reading and working on her writing, watching old films, as well as playing guitar and going on hikes.
