Fahema Shaik

Fahema Shaik is a third-year student at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she is majoring in Biochemistry & Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. Fahema’s interest in the biological sciences developed from her profound curiosity about the brain, and she is extremely curious to uncover how different neurological diseases affect the functionality of the brain and human body. Her career goal is to obtain an MD-PhD degree to conduct clinical research in neuroscience. Fahema is also an avid drawer and enjoys making digital and traditional art pieces. She is the co-owner of the YouTube channel “The Creative Cuber” where she posts videos focusing on topics such as cubing, drawing, and origami.
